LCM MS Charity
In the memory of my daughter, Linda Coulthard-Morris, we all became interested in helping a group of people that she felt needed help, the clients of the KADEP program in Denver. During Linda’s life, she expressed a great interest in the Rocky Mountain MS Center's King Adult Day Enrichment Program ('KADEP"). She would tell her Father and me stories of different patients with whom she worked when she had time to get to the center. She believed in the Center and the benefit it provided to the MS patients she knew. MS is a progressively debilitating disease still without a cure. While there has been some progress in treating the symptoms, those afflicted with MS, along with their families, must deal with the physical and emotional burden of progressive debilitation. The mission of the KADEP center is to enhance the quality of the lives of people with MS, and their families, by maintaining wellness, providing opportunities for social interaction, intellectual stimulation and independence. The Center needs our help, and that is the purpose of our charity. Our Charity is small in numbers, but our members work hard.
